Mp3Tag è un tool specifico per editare i tag ID3 dei più diffusi formati di file audio.

Consente di rinominare i file in base alle informazioni contenute nel tag, creare playlist e molto altro. Supporta il database freedb e riceca automaticamente informazioni relative ai file selezionati. Mp3Tag supporta numerosi formati tra cui Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC), Monkey's Audio (APE), Mpeg Layer 3 (MP3), MPEG-4 (MP4/M4a), Musepack (MPC), Ogg Vorbis (OGG), Speex (SPX), Windows Media Audio (WMA) e WavPack (WV).
