XMail è un mail server per Windows NT/2K che presenta le seguenti funzioni: SMTP server, POP3 server, finger server, multiple domains, per gli utenti non è necessario avere un account di sistema reale, SMTP relay checking, RBL/RSS/ORBS/DUL e custom (basata su IP e indirizzi) spam protection, SMTP authentication (PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5 POP3-before-SMTP and custom), sincronizzazione degli account POP3 con account POP3 esterni, account aliases, domain aliases, custom mail processing, direct mail files delivery, custom mail filters, mailing lists, remote administration, custom mail exchangers, logging, multi-platform code (il codice sorgente è disponibile anche per GNU/Linux, FreeBSD e Solaris).
