Sun Microsystems ha rilasciato una nuova versione del Java Runtimes Environment (JRE), il plug-in per i browser internet che abilita il supporto alle applicazioni web scritte in Java.
Il plug-in è compatibile con Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla e Netscape.
