CDRlabs ha recensito il masterizzatore/lettore DVD HP CD-Writer 9900ci 12/10/32/8 IDE CD-RW/DVD-ROM.
ecco le conclusioni del dettagliato articolo:
-POSITIVO
Excellent data transfer rates. High transfer rates, low seek times and very good CPU usage.
The 9900ci can read CD-RW media as fast as pressed and CD-R media
Fast write and rewrite performance.
The drive includes a diverse software package. HP has taken some good tools, made them better and even included some not seen included with previous drives.
The package is a well rounded but may come up short for experienced users.
-NEGATIVO
Drive is overly sensitive to imperfections on the CD when doing DAE.
The result is usually very slow DAE and in some cases errors in the extracted audio.
RAW-DAO is not currently supported in CloneCD.
No printed manual. The drives specs and supported formats are not listed anywhere.
